CONCRETE STEPS

Access to the house but keeping with the feel of the house.
This home has a steep incline up to the front door and not easily accessible when guests parked at the bottom of the driveway.
To keep with the theme of the home, Greg worked with the landscape and created a "Floating" stairway that was interesting but functional.

Stairs that enable easier access!!

DECKING - INCORPORATING THE TREES

Rhinowood Deck extended from the kitchen to create a large indoor outdoor atmosphere
The owner wanted to enjoy the area under the trees in summer and as this was an area with great views and coolness from where summer morning and meals could be enjoyed the next step was to create a deck under the beautiful tree.

The owner wanted a sustainable decking wood to be used and so they decided on Rhino Wood - Rhino Wood decking is a sustainable low maintenance and durable.

NEW BUILD - KITCHEN

A kitchen designed by Greg Horne of ModSquad, for the owner who required a functional kitchen that would feel part of the home.

The kitchen brief was to create a functional kitchen, but a kitchen that could be enjoyed by the family.

As this is an open design, Greg designed a kitchen with draws which run the full length under the Ceazar stone top, which enable ease of access to crockery and cutlery. The island also has a set of 3 draws as well as a pull out dustbin.
Only the one wall was used for a double pull out pantry, single cupboard for the bigger kitchen items, oven, microwave and fridge.
Tempered coloured glass was installed behind the hob which brings a touch of colour to the kitchen and serves as a splash back for the hob.
A low wall was built to screen the kitchen from the scullery but in doing so, it still allows for the natural light to flow into the kitchen provided by the large windows.
